General

What services does The Wooden Stone LLC offer?

We are a commercial countertop fabricator for multifamily construction. There are two ways to work with us: full countertop supply and installation across the Midwest, or cut-to-size countertops fabricated to your specifications and supplied throughout the lower 48 states, with the option to include installation. We also supply sink fixtures.

What areas do you serve?

Our installation crews work across the Midwest. Cut-to-size countertops are supplied to projects in all 48 mainland states. We are headquartered in Clinton Township, Michigan.

Do you install outside the Midwest?

Our full-scope install crews work across the Midwest. Outside the Midwest, projects run as cut-to-size supply, fabricated to your dimensions and shipped ready to set, and installation can be included as an option.

What is cut-to-size countertop supply?

We fabricate countertops to your exact dimensions and ship them finished and ready to install. Your crew sets them, or we can include installation. Cut-to-size is available for projects anywhere in the lower 48, including the Midwest.

How long has The Wooden Stone been in business?

We bring over 10 years of commercial construction experience, with 30+ multifamily communities delivered and a 96% on-time installation rate.

Installation & Process

How long does countertop installation take?

Field measures run 10 to 20 units per day, fabrication typically takes 5 to 7 days, and install crews complete 5 to 20 units per day depending on unit design, with a peak cadence of up to 100 units per week.

What is your installation process in the Midwest?

Laser field measurement after cabinets are set, custom fabrication in our own shop, installation sequenced to your turnover schedule, then a punch walk and sign-off before we leave the building.

How does cut-to-size ordering work?

Send us your unit-type drawings or dimensions. We produce shop drawings for your approval, fabricate to spec, and ship the finished tops on the schedule set at drawing approval.

Can you work around our project schedule?

Yes. We sequence installs to your pull schedule and coordinate closely with your site team, including off-hours or weekend work when a schedule calls for it.

Materials & Options

What countertop materials do you offer?

Granite, quartz, porcelain, quartzite, and marble. We help you match the material to the use case and budget of each project.

How do I choose the right material for my project?

Consider durability for high-traffic units, maintenance requirements, and budget. Our team advises on the trade-offs for each project during preconstruction.

Can you match existing countertops?

In many cases, yes. We can often match or closely coordinate with existing materials. A sample or photo helps us confirm what is possible.

Commercial Projects

What types of projects do you handle?

Multifamily projects including apartments, condominiums, and townhomes, as well as senior living communities. We work on both new construction and renovations.

Do you provide a warranty?

Yes. Our workmanship is warrantied for one year, and the materials we supply carry their manufacturers' warranties.

Can you handle large-scale projects?

Yes. Our current portfolio includes projects up to 266 units, and our crews install at a peak cadence of up to 100 units per week.

Do you provide project management?

Yes. Every project gets one accountable point of contact who handles scheduling, coordination with your site team, quality control, and unit-count reporting as the work progresses.

Getting Started

How do I get a quote for my project?

Reach out through our contact form, by phone, or by email. For Midwest supply-and-install we review your plans and walk the site as needed. For cut-to-size, send drawings or dimensions and we will quote from those.

What information do you need for a quote?

Unit count and unit mix, drawings if available, material preferences, and your timeline. For cut-to-size orders, dimensions or shop drawings are what we quote from.

How quickly can you start my project?

Install mobilization is typically 2 to 4 weeks after contract signing, subject to the current schedule. Cut-to-size orders ship on lead times set when shop drawings are approved.

Do you provide references from past projects?

Yes. References are available on request, and our project portfolio shows recent multifamily work with unit counts, clients, and timelines.

Still have questions?

Send us the unit mix and where you're building. We'll tell you exactly how we'd run it.
