Turnover dates kept
Countertops sit on the critical path to unit turns. We build the template, fabrication and install sequence backward from your dates, then hold it.
Commercial Countertops · Multifamily · Midwest Install · Nationwide Supply
So you know it's never the slab that blows the schedule. It's the no-show crew, the material excuse, the punch list nobody closes. The Wooden Stone is a commercial countertop fabricator for multifamily general contractors. We supply and install across the Midwest, and supply cut-to-size countertops to projects anywhere in the lower 48 states. We are built so none of that happens on your job.
Who We Work With
01 · The Friday Problem
Dodge Data & Analytics owner survey
You've run this trade before. This is not that story.
02 · The Standard We're Measured By
Every decision in our shop and in the field serves one product: Construction Execution Certainty. A general contractor grades it on four measures, and only four.
Countertops sit on the critical path to unit turns. We build the template, fabrication and install sequence backward from your dates, then hold it.
Open punch items block sign-off, retainage and lease-up. Ours get closed while the crew is still in the building, not after the third phone call.
Self-performing crews scheduled to your pull plan, not our convenience. When we commit to a floor, the crew is on it.
One accountable point of contact from preconstruction through closeout. Questions get answers the same day, not the same week.
03 · The Program
Every project runs the same sequence, whether it's 40 units or 400: fourteen days from template to installed units, at a cadence of up to 100 units per week. No improvising, no surprises, no waiting on answers.
04 · What Becomes Easier
Countertops are a late, gating trade. When template, fabrication and install hit their windows, your last ninety days stop being a gamble.
What becomes easier: the Friday schedule call.
One vendor carries measure, material, fabrication, delivery and install. No broker layers, no finger-pointing between the shop and the crew.
What becomes easier: your phone.
Licensed, insured and accountable to a written program. Every unit installed, inspected, signed off and warrantied.
What becomes easier: closeout.
05 · Field Evidence
06 · Depth Was a Decision
Brokered crews, rented capacity and borrowed supply keep an installer's overhead low, and make every promise somebody else's job. We chose depth instead: our own shop, our own self-performing crews, our own supply line, one program tying them together. Depth costs more to build. It is also the only reason the numbers at the top of this page are possible.
07 · Two Companies, One Loop
Our sister company, Judestone, is a strategic stone supply operation. Slabs are sourced, tracked and staged inside the same loop that fabricates and installs them. When supply and installation answer to the same name, "the material didn't show" stops existing as an excuse.
Material is never our excuse. Nothing is.
08 · The Invitation
We hold a 96% on-time installation rate in an industry where six in ten projects finish behind schedule. Send us the unit mix and the dates you're carrying. We'll show you the program that protects them, in writing, before you award anything.
